Putting together a list of Christmas Bible verses might seem a little odd. After all, we know that every verse in the Bible speaks the good news of Jesus.  But Christmas brings us around again to beloved verses that sing in our hearts the story of Jesus’s birth.  Here is a sampling:

Prophecy About Jesus

Psalm 2:7-8

I will declare the decree: the Lord hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee. Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.

Psalm 72:11

Yea, all kings shall fall down before him: all nations shall serve him.

Isaiah 7:14

Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.
