26 christmas bible verses from the king james version

Putting together a list of Christmas Bible verses might seem a little odd. After all, we know that every verse in the Bible speaks the good news of Jesus.  But Christmas brings us around again to beloved verses that sing in our hearts the story of Jesus's birth.  Here is a sampling:

Prophecy About Jesus

Psalm 2:7-8

I will declare the decree: the Lord hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee. Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.

Psalm 72:11

Yea, all kings shall fall down before him: all nations shall serve him.

Isaiah 7:14

Isaiah 9:6-7

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.
